Progress Reports


On Thursday, March 11th, students at Humberview S.S. will be receiving their Progress Report Cards.  Please review this document with your son(s) and/or daughter(s) and any other documents that may be inside the envelope.   Please contact the school in the case they're not received at home.

Parent / Guardian Night


A progress report was sent home regarding student progress up to this point in the current semester.  The reports will show only the Learning Skills and may have a comment attached regarding your son(s)/daughter(s) progress up to this point in time. 

Parents' Night, will be held on Thursday, March 25th from 6PM-8:30PM.  If you wish to meet with your son(s)/daughter(s) teacher, please ensure you fill out the interview form that was brought home with the Progress Report.

Semester Two Starts

Welcome back!  Semester Two will being Wednesday, February 3rd.  Timetables will be handed out and locker cleanup will occur; then it's off to your new semester classes where your teachers will be waiting to greet you.  Also on this day you will have the opportunity for reviewing your exams. 

You will need a blue timetable to attend your second semester classes.  These will be given out earlier in the day.

Let's have a great semester!  Summer is only five months away!!

  • THIS IS THE MESSAGE LEFT BY MR. TREDWELL ON January 7, 2010: This is a very important message from Student Services at Humberview Secondary School. Your son/daughter is now beginning the process of selecting courses for the 2010/2011 school year. Counsellors have been visiting classes and holding information assemblies to assist students with the process. A letter was sent home with your son/daughter on Tuesday outlining this process. Students also received a Course Calendar and Course Selection Form. Please take some time to sit down with your son/daughter and review this informaton. Course selection is completed via our school website, humberviewss.ca. The website opens for course selection on January 8th and will close on January 17th. Please assist your child with this very important step in their educational career. If you have any questions, please contact your child's guidance counsellor at 905-857-0771.
